A design mindset (1)
Designs often face numerous paradoxes. They are frequently terminated by the mindset
which usually wonder the possibilities of good ideas instead of figuring out the ways to realize them.
To come up with an unique and valuable design, it requires careful considerations from many
perspectives and sometimes no perspective at all. Some contains physical interaction between the
objects and human beings. Some contains the expressions of values and core designs which
would seemingly build a meaningful, personal relationship with individuals...... The inspirations of
designs often come from careful observation with obsessed curiosities. It is the results of ones being
complete out of him/herself to truly understand the reasons of each different designs. ( There is no
right or wrong. It is all the matter of perspectives)
Design and engineering are quite opposite, but they are inseparable at meanwhile. Design is more
about idealism and imagination. Engineering is logic and realism. The design leads the engineering
process of an object, and the engineering realizes its design. One commonality is they both require
persistence and skepticism. The persistences make them possible. The skepticism makes them even
better.
