I started the process by picking a big block of ice that was in my backyard. After breaking away stray pieces I was left with a mound of ice that could fit in the palm of my hand. I decided to take a stick, sharpen it, and poke pilot holes around the middle of the ice on one side. This would turn into the candle holder. After the pilot holes were made, I stuck my thumb into the block of ice to clear any stray ice. After clearing all the ice, I put my candle holder in the freezer for a few hours and dropped a very small candle on the inside.
Criteria:
My candle holder is shaped as a cup and is made out of a hallowed out block of ice. It has frozen snowflakes that are visible around the sides and the candle is visible through the walls of the holder.
