Winter Shelter

I started my winter shelter by brining a 10*10 tarp with me to the woods near my house. I began by building my shelter around a tree that had fallen and was at an angle. I proceeded to gather large, tall sticks that would surround the fallen tree and make what looks like a tipi. I tried to find thick branches to ensure that the shelter would not have any holes in it. After making the base of the shelter, I used smaller sticks to close up smaller holes, so that the wind does not enter the shelter. Once the shelter was built, I wrapped the sheet of plastic around it to help prevent from any wind, rain, or snow. The ideal shelter would probably have a flat ground, however, there is a tree that is frozen to the ground running through the shelter . Instead of trying to move it, I decided to make it a seat for those living in the shelter.
