Today I built a snowman that was bench-pressing. When I first went outside, I was planning to just make just an ordinary snowman, but the snow was not sticky enough, so I had to come up with another plan. I thought it would be easier to make a snowman that was laying down instead. And to add to this idea, I made the snowman bench-press.
I began building by gathering piles of snow on the ground and pressing them together. For the head, I gathered a smaller amount of snow, for the middle I gathered a pile of snow that was a little larger, and for the bottom, I gathered the largest amount of snow. I shaped them into spheres to form a snowman-shaped body. I then went to find some sticks that could be used as the snowman's hands. For these sticks, they had to be able to hold something, so they needed to have a sort of "V" shape at the ends of them. I then stuck these sticks in the middle part of the snowman to act as hands. After this, I added a stick in between the hands that could be used as the bar in a bench-press. I placed some pine needles at the ends of the "bar" to act as little weights. I used two more sticks and put them on the end of the bottom of the snowman for legs. I used two rocks as the eyes, a small branch as the nose, and a leaf as the mouth. For more detail, I added a baseball cap and some headphones like people use when they are at the gym.
