Elon Musk is debatably one of the smartest people when it comes to innovation and futuristic ideas. He is the CEO of Tesla, the autonomous cars that drive themselves. The creator of the most popular electric luxury cars and innovator of many revolutionary products. One of his most interesting new projects and ideas is the HyperLoop. A crazy technology to transport people at extremely high rates of speed. The goal is to travel as far of a distance in the least amount of time possible. Transportation seems to be Elon Musks forte.

What is the HyperLoop and how does it work?

How do Hyperloop works?     The HyperLoop is a crazy contraption that mixes air pressure science and magnetic science to literally accelerate transportation. It Starts off a long tube that stretches for miles, said to connect cities. This long tube is said to be a  controlled or "special" environment for a capsule that will transport passengers. The tube will have a vacuum to lower the air pressure inside the tube. The capsule is said to have a compressor fan on the front to redirect the air to air bearings that are the shape of skis. The air bearings will cause the capsule to hover and reduce friction. Another plus of the tubes is that it is being engineered to be weather and disaster-proof. It is said to not be affected by earthquakes. The nice part about the capsule levitation technology is that it will not need tracks so it can change direction and not be bound to one single route. Elon Musk proposed that the top of the tube might be layered with solar panels to power the whole thing. Sounds pretty environmentally friendly and time-saving.

How will it affect the world?

This is some crazy technology that will revolutionize the way humanity operates. This opens so many doors because it saves so much time. The possibilities are endless with this technology because we can move from one place to the other faster than ever. It revolutionizes the speed at which we can transport first responders and law enforcement to cities that might need reinforcements and opens doors to quickly going to other countries to help with rebuilding after disasters. It could create ways for military personnel to visit home quickly and return back to training facilities in the same day. Plus we can start to transport items and objects rather than people to aid allied countries faster when disaster strikes.
