Pistol That Folds into the Size of A Credit Card

Pistol That Folds into the Size of A Credit Card

The North Carolina gun company, Trailblazer, has created a new pistol that is smaller than ever. The size of the average pistol is about 1 3/8" wide, 7 1/2" long, and 6 1/2" tall. The LifeCard .22LR has the size of .5" wide, 3.375" long, and 2.125" tall. Not to mention the LifeCard's significantly lighter weight than the average pistol, weighing about 11oz, while the LifeCard .22LR weighs about 7 oz. This is very easy to carry compared to other pistols as it folds into the size of a credit card. As shown in the picture the average pistol does not fold at all into an easy to carry size. To carry a regular pistol most people need use a holster. However, all you need to carry the LifeCard .22LR is an empty pocket or wallet. The only down side to the LifeCard pistol is that it only carries one bullet at a time, compared to the average pistol that carries about 15 bullets at a time in an ammo clip at a time.

How Does it Work?
The LifeCard .22LR is pretty easy to operate. To load the weapon press the latch on the upper part of the frame of the weapon and a barrel will fold out. There will be a hole in the barrel, where you will put the bullet in. Once the bullet is in close the barrel and it will lock shut. There is another latch on the side of the folded up gun that you will have to press. Once pressed unfold the gun until it locks in the open position. To fire the weapon there will be a bolt that you will have to cock back, once cocked back the weapon is ready to be fired.

With all the shootings and violence going on in the world this invention is not a very good solution to the problem. In fact since this weapon is so small and easy to carry it is an easy thing to  hide from others. Due to that, you will not be able to purchase the weapon in California or Massachusetts, since they have very strict gun laws. My opinion on this invention is that it is a very cool thing, but it only makes gun violence problems worse if the wrong people get a hold of this weapon. Below is a video of this weapon being fired.
